Jessie's Pink Ballpark

June 29, 2008 at the Ballpark in Arlington, Texas Our city was invited to "Pink Out The Ballpark for Jessie" and cheer on the State Champs - The Aledo Ladycats, who were recognized by Nolan Ryan, Hall of Fame pitcher and President of the Texas Rangers, and the Rangers! It was such a special day and of course the Rangers beat the Phillies!

Lilly Hefner, Alex Grooms and Sophie Hefner giving a THUMBS UP for Jessie! They are school friends from Stuard Elementary. Aren't they dolls?

Sweet sisters!

Alex and Cassie Grooms

Here are 3 angels who have still yet to meet Jessie! They came to the Ballpark to support her and the Hall family. Great pink! They live in Grapevine, an hour north of Aledo. They are Mason, Kristin and Jill Egli.

Kristin is working for The Hemispherectomy Foundation. She has an infectious enthusiasm and great energy! She's been very busy already! You ROCK Kristin!

Caren and Catherine Jennings watching the game! It was a hot day, but so many people came out!

Here is Shellie Smith, Dr. Marcus Gleaton and Scott Grooms. These are Hall family friends from Aledo.

These amazing people were asked if they knew Jessie, and they said no. They held these signs up off and on throughout the game - cheering for our gal Jessie! Angels with signs!

Here are the amazing Aledo Ladycats, the Texas State Champs for fast pitch softball! They are our heroes here in Aledo 'where the boys are boys and the girls are State Champs!' These young ladies wore pink armbands during their playoff games in honor of Jessie. They are presenting this special jersey to her, with Jessie's t-ball number on it and each girls' signature as well! Ladycats, you have no idea how your example has touched others! WE ADORE YOU!!

This is the framed jersey that Nolan Ryan, the great Hall of Fame pitcher, presented to Jessie, along with the Aledo Ladycats.

Here is the Adams family who arranged for this fabulous event to happen! They are Melanie, Jeremy, Jamie and Jared. They also helped a WHOLE BUNCH with ' Jessie's Big Send Off' in May. The Adams are always giving and doing for others - they know no other way to live! Thank you for the great day at The Ballpark!
